HR Experts On DemandSM provides practical and customized outsourced HR support and consulting services to small businesses, in virtually any industry, as well as to nonprofit organizations. Clients typically have 15 to 50 employees.
A woman-owned company, we are now in our sixth year of operations. Jill M. Vales, Founder, Owner and President, has had a long and successful career in human resources as well as financial and accounting management, and thus brings a unique business-oriented perspective to our HR consulting practice - experience and perspective which sets HR Experts On DemandSM apart.
Each HR Consultant has over 10 years of professional human resources experience, has earned and maintains a nationally recognized professional certifications and/or has a master's degree. Certified HR Consultants complete at least 60 hours of continuing education every three years in order to keep current in the ever-changing field of HR.
Ongoing part-time outsourced HR management is provided under our flexible HR Director On CallSM program. Consulting services are provided in the areas of strategy, employment law, recruiting and selection, employee relations and communications, performance and compensation management, and training and employee development.
The field of HR is ever changing. In 2010, Capitol Hill and the Obama Administration will continue to pursue labor-friendly policies. For example, the Department of Labor recently hired hundreds of new inspectors for the Wage and Hour Division and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Staying abreast of all the changes and implementing them effectively will be no small task for most businesses.
We find that in small organizations, managing the HR function falls to owners, executives, controllers, office managers and others who often wear a variety of hats -- which can put the organization at risk. They may not have the time, training or expertise to ensure compliance with the myriad of employment and wage and hour laws or to take employees and the organization to the next level through deployment of best practices in human resources management.
