Jennifer B. Floyd

President, SPHR, SHRM-SCP | 22 Years Experience

Jennifer started her career in Human Resources shortly after graduating from Clemson University with a BS in Marketing.  After spending two years in sales and figuring out her passion was elsewhere, she accepted a role in recruiting with an international search firm.  Immediately drawn to employment law issues, Jennifer spent 3 years helping companies of all sizes find needed talent in finance, accounting and administrative positions.  Her recruitment experience led her to a manufacturer in the Northeast as a Human Resources Generalist supporting union and non-union employees across the US.  Missing the southeastern region of the country, Jennifer and her husband headed home where she joined Canal Insurance Company and spent the next 13 years.  In her role as VP, Human Resources, Jennifer oversaw all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, total rewards, employee benefits, organizational development and employee relations.  She joined ScanSource, Inc., a global distributor as HR Director and managed the domestic HR operations located in AZ, KS, FL, NY, GA and SC.  Most recently, Jennifer served as VP, HR for MidCountry Financial Corp., a consumer finance and banking institution.  Her specialties are strategic and business planning, benefit plan management, organizational development, compliance and investigative work.  Jennifer and her family are South Carolina residents and are proud to live in the most beautiful area of the country!

Debbie Spearman

Senior HR Consultant | 30 Years Experience

Debbie has extensive human resources experience in technology, manufacturing and logistics industries.  Spearman served as Vice President of Human Resources for NuVox, a telecommunications business with locations in 16 Southeast, Midwest and Gulf Coast states. 

Spearman has a deep understanding of employee relations and the importance of sound policies and procedures, well-trained managers, clear communications, rewards and recognition and performance management.  She has extensive expertise in start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and the myriad transition activities involved in these business transactions.  She knows how to work at both strategic and tactical levels and understands the challenges that can occur with differing cultures, value systems, and management philosophies.

Spearman has served on the Board for the Greenville Society of Human Resource Management (GSHRM), the Board of the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce, the Board for Greenville Technical College’s Technical Scholarship Program, and the Greenville County School-to-Work task force.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. Spearman joined the firm in 2011.

Beth Love

Senior Analyst, CPA, MA | 17 Years Experience

Beth Love is a Certified Public Accountant with over fifteen years of accounting experience. She worked for over seven years in public accounting with two “Big-Four” accounting firms in Greenville.  Love holds a Masters of Accounting degree, with a focus on taxation, from the University of Georgia and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Presbyterian College.  Love has served as Treasurer for Pendleton Place Children’s Shelter and The Alliance for Quality Education.  In her role as Compensation Analyst, Love applies her analytical and spreadsheet skills and works with HR Consultants to research and analyze market pay and to develop salary administration systems and incentive compensation plans.   She has taken compensation course work through the World At Work organization. In her role as Financial Analyst, Love applies her analytical and spreadsheet skills to prepare monthly journal entries to accurately close out clients’ books on an accrual basis, reconcile bank accounts, analyze clients’ preliminary monthly financial results, develop financial packages for owners and boards of directors and prepare detailed budgets and projections. Love has been with the firm since February 2008.

Ellen Clement

HR Generalist, Accountant | 10 Years Experience

has over 10 years of business experience focused on accounting, payroll and human resources.  She has worked for the firm for three years.  She received an Associates’ degree in Business Administration in 2015 from Greenville Technical College. Ellen has experience in many industries including construction, landscape contracting, property management, engineering, retail, government and nonprofit.  

At the property management company, Ellen was Payroll Administrator, responsible for all payroll using the Evolution payroll system for 200 employees in over 40 states. Ellen has also served as an HR Manager.  She is well versed in employment and wage and hour law and benefits administration.  She also has extensive experience in recruiting and selection and employee relations.

Ellen also has extensive accounting experience, working primarily with QuickBooks.  She has managed accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, credit card accounts, inventory, journal entries and grants for several organizations.

Melissa Nipert

HR Consultant, PHR | 10 Years Experience

has been nationally certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2001 and is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management.  Prior to her years of experience as a Human Resources Manager, she was a Manufacturing Supervisor giving her a unique perspective on human resource management.  In her role as HR consultant, she applies her expertise in the areas of employment law compliance, supervisor training, performance management, and safety and health program development.  Nipert has a B.S. in Engineering from Georgia Tech and is twelve credit hours shy of completing her Masters in Human Resource Management.  She joined the firm in 2011. She also volunteers in various capacities in her community and with an Employment Support Group of a local church.
